By saying you were doing 30 in a 25, you are admitting to being guilty. Unfortunately using the "but everyone else was doing it" doesn’t work because everyone doing it was wrong, you just happened to be tagged for it.
You’re not getting out of this one, man up and pay the fine.

If you go to court on the date scheduled, the fine will be reduced. DO NOT fight the ticket. You admit yourself that you were going 30 in a 25mph zone… in court it will come down to the cop’s word against yours. The judge is ALways going to side with the police officer.

They will reduce the fine as well as the points if you just show up and plead guilty. I promise.

only way is when u get pulled over ask the cop to see the radar gun with ure speed locked in and if he doesnt have it sucks for him because u then dont have to pay fine

Just say that you weren’t familiar with the area, so you didn’t know what the speed limit was. Tell them that you were following a local driver and had to catch up with them. You really should go to court. 95 is good for a speeding ticket, but going five over? That’s ridiculous.

You can’t fight it, it doesn’t matter that you were following someone else and doing what they did, YOU’RE the one who got caught! You were speeding and that’s that. You can hire an attorney to "fix" it for you, you’ll still have to pay the fine and court costs and the attorney, but it will save you from getting the points off your license and your insurance going up! Otherwise, just pay the thing!
